Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is basically an invasive method that is employed to enhance overall skin texture and complexion. Apart from this, it can improve the appearance of wrinkles, sun damage, acne, fine lines, scars, melasma, and other skin-related conditions. Here we use a unique applicator along with an abrasive surface to slowly sand away the outermost thick layer of the skin to rejuvenate it.

Procedure

First of all, we thoroughly cleanse the skin of the patient and then we use a machine that applies a gentle pressure to spray crystals around the skin. With the help of vertical and horizontal swipe of the machine, the crystals exfoliate the upper layer and dead skin cells on the skin.

Once the exfoliation is done, the crystals are then slowly wiped off from the face with a warm towel or a brush. It is a type of exfoliation procedure that leaves the skin brighter and softer.
After the completion of microdermabrasion, your skin will be dry and pink for at least 24 hours but with the help of a moisturizer, it will be again back to normal. Also, one must take care to avoid makeup within 24 hours.
